  It is quite a nice buffet. The coffee is better here than it used to be. There was a lot of different types of fish to eat, you could also get steak. I would still like a greater variety, but the Amish style foods are what people come for. The salad bar had a nice setup.

  More than just a touristy attraction, Shady Maple arguably has the best buffet food you'll ever have. It's a gigantic building with a satisfyingly wide variety of food to choose from. They also give you a free meal on your birthday! The wait staff is pleasant, and they keep your table clean. It's something you have to experience at least once! (Or maybe fifteen times so you can try all the food!!)

  A cultural experience in Lancaster. It's buffet food, so don't walk in thinking you're gonna get the finest the Pennsylvania Netherlands have to offer. But the variety was impressive, and there were some unique Pennsylvania Dutch foods available that I loved to try (red hard boiled eggs).
  
  The gift shop below the restaurant had a lot of touristy kitsch to offer (Yankee candles, etc.), but mixed in were some real gems, like homemade quilts, sturdy furniture, and apple butters from the locals that you can't get elsewhere.
  
  I'm not really a buffet person per say, but if I had a large group of family members or friends with me in PA, I would probably take them here.
